What You Will Do
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for designing, development, and implementation of integrated hardware and software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hardware and software engineering, strong project management skills, and knowledge of PLC programming and automation. This role requires a hands-on approach to solving complex engineering problems and delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test integrated hardware and software systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components

Evaluate and select appropriate hardware and software technologies for various projects

Conduct performance analysis and optimization of systems

10%-25% of domestic and international travel
Project Management

Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget

Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation

Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement corrective actions as necessary
Technical Skills

Position Summary and Responsibilities
The Engineering Program Manager drives projects from concept through delivery meeting or exceeding internal and external customer requirements. Responsible for budgets, schedules, focusing teams and precisely communicating status. Manages a mixture of R&D and NRE projects simultaneously providing team direction and focus. Responsible for deadlines, milestones, budgetary excellence and overall customer satisfaction.
Develops and implements activities to meet goals, quality and cost objectives. Job Overview:
Working closely with our C.E.O., the Director of Customer Experience plays a pivotal role in leading, developing, and implementing strategies to enhance the overall customer experience within the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of operational excellence, customer needs, a passion for improving customer satisfaction, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve exceptional results. This is a newly created position.
Our Hybrid Work Program: To create vibrancy and foster collaboration, while providing for hours spent working from home, we have implemented a hybrid work schedule. We work from the office in Poway on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and every other Wednesday. Fridays and the other Wednesday are spent working from home. Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, marketing, etc.), advanced degree preferred, or previous experience.
10 years previous, progressive experience in a leadership role within customer service or an associated customer experience role. Previous operations experience is also required. Six Sigma Green belt preferred.
