Kata Practice Strengthens Church & Dwight’s Lean Program.

While there are several attributes that must be satisfied, there are essentially three levels distinguished as follows: Bronze – Improvement relies on Supervisors actions. Silver – Improvement is Supervisor lead, floor staff are involved. Gold – Improvement is soundly based on fully engaged floor staff.

C&D Mississauga distribution center’s Jacob Diflorio, Vincent Adams and Diego Torres had a collective goal to increase their Canadian sites ‘lean status’ from bronze to silver with momentum toward gold. To build traction through scientific thinking, they attended the TWI Institutes Kata 10 Hour training immediately post this years KataCon in Indiana.
