Kata for Content Creators

This presentation will review traditional Kata rapid improvement cycles and how they've been adapted for successful author and artist improvements. This will give learners a better understanding of how to coach content creators in the business aspects of product development for consumer use along with utilizing experimentation methods to improve their artistic craft.

Amanda Snyder works at the University of Utah Health coaching leaders on Lean Six Sigma, Kata and Theory of Constraints. She has implemented “Value Culture” in 45+ departments where front line employees are empowered to make process problems visible and then be a part of the solution. On the side, Amanda writes fantasy novels under the author name: Brooke Stayrook. She has incorporated process improvements methodologies and kata coaching with newer authors and artists in the community to help them find success in their creative careers.
